Bee Visual has been making visual-support apps for children with special needs since 2005. ChoiceWorks and ChoiceWorks Calendar help kids understand their day, manage waiting and big feelings, and move through routines with confidence, the same tools founder Michele Walker first built for her own son.

Michele holds a master's in Applied Educational Psychology and has worked in schools, hospitals, and on a locked pediatric psychiatric unit. She built ChoiceWorks out of necessity, not a business plan, and still answers the support emails herself. It is a woman-owned, self-funded company with no investors and no data collection: Bee Visual has never sold or shared user data, and never will.

Today ChoiceWorks is used by families and schools in more than 20 countries, and the apps chart daily in Education on the App Store. Built by one mother who refused to let the tools her child needed not exist.
